Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Alan Greenberg pursued higher-level clinical training to earn the distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). To accomplish this goal, Dr. Greenberg, founder of North Texas Cosmetic Surgery in Frisco, accrued hundreds of hours of hands-on experience performing the latest cosmetic surgery procedures and advancing his knowledge with rigorous continuing education.

The requirements to achieve recognition as an AACS Fellow include:

  • Earn board certification in an approved surgical specialty.
  • Perform over 50 surgical procedures in the previous year. (By comparison, plastic surgery residency programs require 55 cases). In addition, cosmetic surgery Fellows must demonstrate advanced knowledge of non-surgical procedures such as Botox and facial fillers.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, with the ability to direct treatment plans for skin, breast (including breast cancer evaluation), and body sculpting.
